Easter Surprise

This year we had a special surprise to give the kids. Since it was the day before Easter We had them open Easter eggs and figure out the surprise. One word of this sentence was written on each piece of paper.

The kids were THRILLED!

We have been planning the trip since September but this was the first the kids heard about it. We left a week later. (More to come on that)

After their big surprise, we colored eggs with the kids

Since we had a big vacation coming up, we kept Easter kind of low key. On Easter morning the kids each had a basket with a few teats. And since we had lots of fresh snow on the ground we didn't have an Easter egg hunt. But that made it easier to focus on the real reason we celebrate Easter.
