I've been meaning to get Alek's hair cut for a while. It was almost hanging into his eyes. But when he woke up from his nap last week with his hair looking like this:
I knew it was time for a haircut.
My sister cut his hair at my parent's house last Monday. He actually sat pretty well for it and didn't get too upset as long as I kept giving him pieces of teddy grahams. Here's the before, during and after.
I can't believe how grown up it makes him look. Between him walking, and his new haircut, he doesn't seem like much of a baby anymore.
Casey and I have been married for eleven wonderful years. He's a great husband. We really balance each other out and get along so well it's almost too good to be true. He's also a terrific father to our three boys. Jace is our oldest. He loves to golf and ride his bike and play with friends. Camden is our second child. He's full of energy and silliness which really keeps me on my toes. Alek is our baby. He's such a fun and easygoing little guy and loves to watch his brothers play. I'm Connie and for the most part I'm the one who posts on the blog, although Casey does put his two cents in every once in a while.

"It isn’t as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don’t worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of his blessings, He will hear our prayers."-Gordon B. Hinckley
